Wrong direction

This photo/idea is from a Tony Stone royalty-managed image library KuwaitHeadline: “Right direction”

Wow an investment company who did not even invest in a new idea for their own self promotion!!!

This investmant company ad “idea” is based on an image from Tony Stone; my guess is that the agency decided not to pay Tony for a royalty-managed photo so instead they shot it locally (Kuwait) in order to make more money from their client. I wonder why the agency is paying a salary for the art director?

Free models

The Bulgarian model for Damas has been pasted on an ad for a sliming product for men and women!!!

Well if you can’t afford the diamonds or the model or professional photography how can you afford to open a business, import products from the USA, pay customs, rent a wharehouse and pay for media space?

I had previously contributed this entry to Communicate magazine which they kindly published as an example in the cover story titled “Copycat Incorporated” in the November 2005 issue No. 11. Page:18.

Berry Bad

The newspaper just helped itself to the photo of the Wella brand model and used it in an article about rape and kidnapping!!!

What are the associations between rape, kidnapping and changing the color of hair? What messages are they sending out?

Moto Nightmare

Source: Campaign 27 August 2006

For those who don’t speak the Arabic language; the headline reads…”The nightmare of mobile phones…the Bluetooth; some use it irresponsibly others for harmful entertainment”.
I have a strong feeling that Motorola did not authorize the use of its main visual to be used as the main visual for an editorial on the negative usage of Bluetooth.
