  1. Anubis, thank you for the detailed reply. I do understand your point of view, but the way you posted the comment was a bit of exaggerated which took it from my point of view to a personal one.
    Yet we cannot deny that there was an idea behind it as Lance mentioned earlier. I know as well and respect your efficiency and knowledge in this field and value your point of view, however it does not mean we share the same point of view.
    At the end critics are to add value not to go down towards shame and so on.

    As reverted it was not my personal feelings, but TBWA/Zeenah expertise.

Theodora, I appreciate your feelings for TBWA\Zeenah and i am sure that they are the greatest agency in Oman till date; however that doesn’t change the fact that “this” concepts is a copycat at worst case scenario and a cliche; at best. you should accept that in the creative arena criticism is a fact of professional life; award shows are a form of critique of ones entered work.

    NB. This post is not a personal attack on anyone. I have visited TBWA\Zeenah office (as an IAA board member) and met with their Group General Manager and some agency team members; so from my personal experience i can say they are decent professionals.

  4. Well I think you guys (Anubis and the other anonymous guy) does not have anything to do. First of all go back to these 2 agencies(TBWA and Zeenah) background,then talk. As the song says if you cannot reach the grape you say that it tastes sour.

  5. Well… as we have learnt, there is nothing new under the sun. Calling this a copy is like saying that all artists copy Da Vinci’s work when they paint a portrait of a woman… You must admit that there is an idea behind it. Yes I work for TBWA\ZEENAH and no I didn’t work on this ad.

  6. Well done. Can’t believe an international agency has the audacity to copy an ad like this. Even worse is the fact that it’s a rehashed version of an already pirated ad that went on to win an award just last year, that too in the same region. Shame on such agencies – both TBWA Zeenah and JWT.

  7. This is the sad state of creativity, ethics and the judging jury in this part of the world 🙁 The funny part is that these “top creative’s” from “international” agencies are not practicing what they are preaching and have the audacity to mock others who are wining while playing by the rules 😉
