what is the latest on the KAAA?

According to this article published in Al Watan daily Kuwaiti newspaper on Sunday the 15th of February, 2009; The deadline for participation in the KAAA was 28th of February 2009 and the award ceremony and winners were supposed to be announced in May 2009. till date there is no information on when or where it will commence.

Update: on the 26th of October, 2009 I received a call from the organizers of the KAAA in which i was officially informed that the Kuwait Arabic Advertising Awards will not be held this year due to the global economic crisis and the low level of participation in terms of quantity and quality. The good news is that all of the participants will soon get a full refund on their entry fees.
